We are offering a an original 1950's Nuñez Luna oil on canvas painting of the iconic valley overlooking Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl Volcanoes near Mexico City.

Provenance: This painting belonged to Adolfo López Mateos, the President of Mexico from 1958 to 1964. We acquired it from his daughter, Elena López Mateos who wrote the note "These items sold to Randy are items that belonged to my father, the Mexican ex President Adolfo López Mateos. The paintings and other items were gifted to my mother as wedding presents from my father, the president."
