Early 19th Century Windsor Chair with original red paint by
Ohio fancy chairmaker, Stephen Kilburn (1787-1867).
Height: 35"
This chair has a lovely step down cross piece,
and a medallion incised saddle seat.
The underside is marked with "S. Kilburn"
as can be scene with other examples of his work.
This piece is likely early 19th century, and a great example of
a simple yet beautiful American Windsor chair.
