- The highly detailed decoration has French marks and a date of 1742 on one of the Grotesque Masks
- Pieces from the Rococo period were known for their exuberant ornamentation,

- French Rococo, appeared in Paris during the reign of Louis XV, and flourished between about 1723 and 1759.[21]
