We are

Offering 3 flatware pieces of Taxco Mexican Sterling Silver
in the Georg Jensen pattern Blossom.
a salad fork, salad spoon, and sauce ladle.
Georg Jensen of Denmark created the Blossom pattern around 1919.

Mexico has a long history of beautiful and innovative designs in sterling silver.
The center of the Mexican silver industry is Taxco, in the state of Guerrero.
Silversmiths there are known for their skilled intricate designs and replicated patterns.
During WWII, Mr. Lunning who owned the Georg Jensen Store on 5th Avenue in New York City
could not obtain Jensen Silver from Denmark
so he commissioned Taxco Silver makers De Matteo and La Paglia
to make silver that looked like George Jensen.

The unique blossom design lends a modern flair to the handles of these Mexican sterling silver serving pieces.

Each Hallmarked on the back with STERLING MEXICO.
The Eagle mark is present on the Spoon and Ladle.
