A Beautiful pair of c.1819 English, George 111 (Regency era)
Highly decorated Sterling Silver, with Gilt Interior, Salt Cellars.
The Salt Spoons are also of the same period
and dated 1828 -1829.
The pair of Large Master Salt Cellars were made in 1819 by William Eaton,
A highly regarded London Silversmith.
He designed these ornate pieces with shell & paw feet
using the popular designs of the time,
taken from the ancient Greece & Roman
Classical designs. These beautiful Salts have full hallmarks
and with an unusual Armorial Crest engraved with a squirrel.
The Master Salt Spoons were both made in 1828 - 29.
by two different Silver makers.
Owen Fielding, a master spoon maker in Exeter, England
Jonathan Hayne a master spoon maker in London England.
These spoons have a downward-turned end
with full hallmarks on the stem.

Spoons 4" long x 1 1/8" across the bowl
Weight Large Heavy Salt Cellars : 130 g. and 131 g.
Weight of master salt spoons: 11. g. and 8.8 g.
Condition: Salt Cellars are in Very Good condition with original gilt interiors and showing minor signs of use
Salt Spoons also in good condition with light signs of use. One salt spoon has minor dents in the bowl
