to keep baby happy and ward off illness and evil spirit.
Bright cut engraved decoration throughout the silver
original suspension loop to hang around the nanny's neck to entertain the baby.
Two rows of five bells three bells are missing, all parts are original to this teether.
The marks are for George 111, date letter R for 1812
Sterling Silver mark, and Elizabeth Morley's makers hallmark.
Dimensions: 6 1/4" long x 1 1/2 wide at the bells.

Condition: Good overall age-related condition, missing 3 rattle bells, some very minor
baby teeth marks to the coral, and minor dents from use & play around the working whistle.
