Heavy Cast Bronze round card receiving tray. Measures 5.25 inches in diameter. Unmarked. Early 1900's. Two Doberman Pinscher dogs in a brace, caught up on a tree limb. This piece was used as a smoking tray.
It is referenced in the book, "The History of the Doberman Pinscher as Depicted Through Collectibles, Art and Literature in the Literature" chapter, beginning on page 210.
