with a Dragon staff, seated on a wooden stand.

The prominent cranium identifies this figure as Shoulao, the God of Longevity. Here, he holds a peach, a symbol of long life, and his jacket is decorated with the Chinese character for longevity (shou).

Shoulao) the god of longevity, one of three star gods in Chinese beliefs. His most recognizable feature is his pronounced bald head and long beard, and he carries the ‘peach of immortality’. Statues of Shoulao are popular birthday gifts for elders.
