A wonderful antique German letter clip in the clever shape of a bird. The 1890s bronze finished, white metal bird head sits atop a stone base. When you apply pressure to the very back of the bird's head, the beak opens about 1 1/2 cm for the placement of letters. The spring works very well.

This antique bronze finished, white metal letter clip is in beautiful age-related condition. Bird head & Beak has some oxidation. The stone base shows wear but is in solid condition. The spring clip works very well.
