Sevres porcelain box 1804 - 1809
The colorful scene is of Napoleon
on his horse charging into a battle
Soldiers on horseback in the background
with exploding canon shells on the battlefield.
The box has all the Napoleonic symbols
and gilt gold enamel designs
on a deep green background
appropriate for the age and subject.
The original hinge closes tight.
The Sevres marks on the bottom
were used between 1804 to 1809
Condition:
Fine original condition with age-appropriate wear inside box could use a cleaning
