A Beautiful Mexican Silver Tray by the important Mexico City
Silver Manufacture, Sanborns.
This Heavy Sterling Silver Round Tray was made with
an ornate Gadrooned Border with Fluted Edges.
Sanborns began making Sterling Silver items
in 1923 Mexico City.
This tray was made sometime between 1923 and 1945,
and does not have an Eagle Mark which was required
after 1945.
The Makers mark on the back of the tray
shows the Three Owl Symbol,
with the name Sanborns, Mexico, Sterling.
Dimensions: Total 13 7/8" across
Interior flat surface is 9 1/2"
Weight: 1048 g.
Condition: very good age-related condition with minor scratches and scuffs from use.
