He painted landscapes of the Sonoma Hills and Yosemite until 1904 when he moved to Los Angeles into a studio-home
at 1308 E. 46th Street. Active in southern California until the mid-1920s
This landscape painting is very likely to be of the Mount Wilson area
within the San Gabriel mountains of California
