An impressive George III Sheraton Period, c. 1790-1810 Breakfront, Bookcase
This breakfront from the turn of the 18th to 19th century is designed in mahogany wood with swirled mahogany veneers and a delicate brass boarders edges.
The projecting cornice rests above the case with astragal glazed panel doors opening to reveal four shelves.
The upper cabinets exhibit gothic muntin's separated by two vertical mullions'. The center section protrudes 2" from the side doors.
The breakfront rests on a plinth base; and disassembles to 10 pieces.
Good, with the usual nicks, scuffs, and old veneer repairs.
