We are offering A Wonderful Georgian Period 1824-25 Three piece Sterling Silver Tea Set by Joseph Angell 1st, a very fine London, England, Family of Silversmiths, All three pieces, Tea Pot, Sugar and Creamer, are fully hallmarked with the Lion, Leopard, date letters and makers mark, and reign of the period George 3rd. Silver marks can Easily be read on all 3 pieces The pieces are wonderfully hand designed with Gadrooned edges, paw feet and a Floral finial on the tea pot and Foliate designs on the legs and handles, There is an beautiful hand engraved armorial crest of a Griffin, Rampant, on all 3 pieces The Sugar & Creamer still retain a light gilt wash Tea Pot has original heat spacers on the handle.
