This captivating comical image showcases a farmers dog chasing a hunter/poacher up a tree.
his gun and a downed duck sits below the tree as he clambers up to escape the dog
that has taken hold of his satchel.
This is from "Sketches by Seymour" by Robert Seymour (1798 – 1836), Published in 1835
a year before his suicide after a dispute with Charles Dickens
