A darling 1878 pocket journal diary with a 19th c. mechanical pencil, once owned by a girl named Agnes Thee who was a German immigrant living in Pennsylvania.
The journal's small pages are written in German with great penmanship.
The diary has brass lined edges on the covers to strengthen the pocket journal.
The first page of the journal diary is labeled "Agnes Thee 1878" The small silver mechanical pencil is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND" and sits securely in its side holster. In the back of the journal in a paper pocket there is a separated note that is in English that says, "1884 18 years old."

This late 19th c. pocket journal diary is in beautiful condition and comes with its
