An 18th c. signed Chinese Archaic style Bronze lidded Censer/ incense burner,
standing on four legs.
It has continuous textured repeated geometric patterns throughout the body of the censer.
From the earliest bronze vessels of the Shang dynasty onward,
geometric patterns have been used to form a dense, textured background.
Two side panels are highlighted with Dragons.
The lid has an oval shape opening and a mythical animal sits on he top of the lid.
