A Rare collage set of illustrated characters from early 20th c. Broadway Shows.
The illustrations are of the actors playing the characters in the shows,
dating back to 1914.
These original hand drawn illustrations by Fred Lewis,
were made for Puck Magazine's February 1914 issue.
These illustrations show characters from the Broadway Shows:
" The Dear Fool" & "Change".
These illustrations of the characters were made on
several different pieces of heavy paper, in graphite with ink and watercolor,
the different character pieces were then attached to an artist cardboard.
On each illustrated individual character picture, the artist noted in pencil
the actors name and the character they played.
On the bottom of the collage there are notes about the plays.
On the back of the artist board it is noted (Fred Lewis 1914)
