This rare signed Gladys Ames Brannigan oil on canvas impressionist
painting still with its original period frame.
This painting is of a living room with a maroon Victorian settee,
nesting tea tables, paintings, and vases fill the room.
This could possibly be Brannigan's own living room.
Brannigan was a painter and a printmaker, teacher and muralist.
The painting is signed in the left bottom corner, "G. Brannigan."
Its painted on canvas with stretchers in its original frame.
In A couple of places on the back of the painting it is written in pencil,
"Brannigan, New York City," with measurements, "24X30," (Inches)
