A 19th C. Gunners Quadrant / Clinometer used to measure the angle of elevation 
of guns to calculate firing ranges 

This fine device is constructed of bronze with 19th century screws, and inset silver degree measurements.
The thumb screw mechanism works smoothly, and the bubble level is accurate and fully intact.
