This remarkable 1860s-80's Jewelry case features a female bust mounted as a finial to a lidded upper jewelry casket.
The small upper casket is lined with it's original button tufted silk.
The 2 door cabinet below the jewelry casket is decorated with copper cherubs.
there are 4 drawers inside, 2 small, and 2 large, + a secret compartment in the base.
The secret compartment is unveiled when the lower drawer is removed and a wood door slides out.

This Jewelry case is fine age related condition with some minor damage/denting to the applied metal decoration as well as some age related shrinkage to the wood, there are some light losses to wood corners, fraying of the silk liner in the casket, and an old replacement handle on a small drawer.
