A 19th c. rare and beautiful meat and game carving set made by Joseph Rodgers & Sons.
The blades are made from honing steel.
The set includes a Knife, a sharpener and a carving fork.
The handles are made from Stagg antlers.
The sterling silver ferrules and ornate terminals are fully Hallmarked.
The marks are, V "crown," R; Joseph Rogers & sons; Cutlers to her majesty;
star and Maltese cross trade marks on knives.
The original box is included and is in beautiful condition.
The retailer is included on the inside of the box.
On the inside of the box it says, "Maguire & Gatchell LTD DUBLIN."
