This rare bowie knife features a interesting scalloped bone handle,
silver plated ferrule and silver pommel, and white brass cross guard.
The clipped point blade is highly decorated including the motto:
I Can Dig Gold from Quartz
Other designs are inspired by the 1849 California Gold Rush.
We have included a leather scabbard that the owner found later, and is free.
Condition:
In good age related condition, if blade was cleaned,
you could read easily the etching, curl to the handle, no cracks.
Old scabbard was found later and is included free.
