a Rare Antique Everflow Table Lighter with Butterscotch Catalin Base.
Everflow table lighters are a variation of the Quercia Eclair produced after World War 2 during the late '40s.
Though based on Marcel Quercia's 1930 semi-automatic mechanism design,
the Everflow uses a distinctive coil-type spring to actuate its mechanism.
This is both a visible distinction for identification and a notable improvement to the original design.
Everflow Lighters were only produced with Plastic/Catalin and wooden bases, all-metal designs were not made.
